Hi! I'm Aresha Nichols, Owner and CEO of Miles Away Vacations, LLC, and I'm so glad you're here!
Travel has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up as a "military brat," I had the opportunity to experience new places and cultures from an early age. Later, as an Army Veteran, I continued exploring the world both in and out of uniform, creating memories that fueled my love for travel.
These days, some of my favorite adventures are the ones I share with my husband and family. Whether we're relaxing at a Caribbean all-inclusive resort, sailing on a cruise, or discovering a new destination together, I truly believe that travel creates lifelong memories and strengthens the connections we share with the people we love.
That passion inspired me to create Miles Away Vacations, LLC. I wanted to help others experience the joy of travel without the stress of planning. My mission is to make your vacation planning simple, personalized, and enjoyable while helping you create unforgettable memories that last long after you return home. Whether you're dreaming of a romantic getaway, a family vacation, a honeymoon, a cruise, a group trip, or the adventure of a lifetime, I'll be with you every step of the way—from the first conversation until you arrive back home.
Before beginning my career in travel, I attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and later earned my bachelor's degree in Accounting while serving on active duty in the U.S. Army. My professional background, combined with my passion for customer service and attention to detail, allows me to carefully plan each trip with the same level of care I'd give my own family's vacations. In fact, my son—the inspiration behind the name Miles Away Vacations—has grown into quite the traveler himself!
When I'm not planning dream vacations, I'm proud to call Douglasville, Georgia home. I also own Phenomenal Tax & Notary, LLC and am an active member of Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority, Inc. If you've ever met me, you probably know me as the "Purple Girl." Purple is my favorite color, I genuinely love meeting new people, and I believe everyone should be treated like family.
