Booking Procedures

• Clients must book a consultation before services are rendered. Once the consultation request is received by our office, you will receive a Client Information Form (CIF) via email. *A separate consultation is needed for each trip.

• Upon receipt, our trusted travel advisors will research your request and provide a quote, with options via email. Please note that this is ONLY a quote. If further information is needed, we will request a phone call or video chat.

• Miles Away Vacations, LLC will not research your request without the required CIF. Clients will receive a quote within 5 business days of the received CIF.

• The emailed quote is strictly for confirmation/approval from the client. Tickets and/or reservations will not be made without the client’s authorization. *Deposits are due upon booking; rates and availability are subject to change until booking is confirmed.

• Once we receive the approved quote our agents will issue an invoice via email (eInvoice) with a Credit Card Authorization Form. *Alternate options will be provided if rooms or flights are no longer available at the time of booking. A copy of the confirmed booking reference number will be issued once the Credit Card Authorization and payment is approved by the supplier.

• DISCLAIMER: Refunds for booked travel are only authorized under certain circumstances (specific to travel insurance guidelines). Deposits may be non-refundable.

• FEE SCHEDULE: 

  • $20 consultation fee for air fare, hotel, or rental car only requests 

  • $25 consultation fee for cruise packages

  • $50 consultation fee for vacation packages for less than 4 travelers; once booking is confirmed and deposit received, 50% of the consultation fee will be returned to the client from Miles Away Vacations, LLC

  • $100 consultation fee for vacation packages for 5 or more travelers; once booking is confirmed and deposit received, 50% of the consultation fee will be returned to the client from Miles Away Vacations, LLC

• Airline tickets, if any will be issued immediately upon payment receipt. Hotel and car rental reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of the Credit Card Authorization form.
